Braunstone village
The Braunstone village conservation area was first designated in 1974 and covers the part of the of the historic village of Braunstone including the Church of St Peter, Cressida Place and Church Field.
The conservation area was reviewed in 2024 but no changes were made to the boundary.

Article 4 direction for Braunstone village conservation area
The Braunstone village conservation area is covered by an Article 4 direction which removes permitted development rights for residential alterations to all houses in the area which are not nationally listed buildings. A copy of this can be downloaded below.
The Article 4 Direction will be in place for six months from 9 October 2024 and will become permanent should the City Council confirm the direction within this period.
