Evington Park House CAT

Evington Park House

We are inviting interest from community organisations to submit their business cases for a Community Asset Transfer (CAT) of Evington Park House.

Evington Park House was built in 1836 as a private dwelling house. It was used as an Auxiliary Voluntary Aid Detachment hospital during World War I and as the HQ of the Evington Home Guard during World War II. It remained a private dwelling until 1948 when it was bought by the Corporation of Leicester and its grounds turned into Evington Park.

The Community Asset Transfer will launch on 28 May 2024. Interested parties are required to complete their CAT Expression of Interest, business case and application by the closing date of 30 August 2024.
