Reuse shop

The recycling centre at Gypsum Close has a purpose built reuse shop which is run by our charitable partner, Age UK Leicester, Shire and Rutland.

The Reuse Shop has been developed and extended to provide improved facilities for our customers. The shop is now fully open and has a new donations drop off, external canopy and bigger and better shop facilities!

Help the environment and support the local community by donating your unwanted items.

What items can be dropped off?

The shop will accept items such as:

bric-a-brac
crockery and kitchen items
clothes and textiles
toys and games
furniture
small electricals like, microwaves, kettles, lamps and so much more.

As long as the items are still in good working order, we will try and give them a second lease of life.

Opening hours

April - October (Summer) Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and weekends 8.30am to 6pm
November - March (Winter) Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and weekends 8.30am to 4.30pm
The Reuse shop will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
