Fashion-Enter
Fashion-Enter Limited is not-for-profit social enterprise, which strives to be a centre of excellence in manufacturing and education within the fashion and textile industry.
The Fashion Technology Academy (FTA) is the educational arm of Fashion-Enter Ltd (FEL). The FTA is the first apparel manufacturing training academy in the country to operate alongside a live factory and fashion studio, ensuring that students gain exposure to real ‘Best of British’ manufacturing skills, whilst training for their accredited qualifications.
All FTA tutors are industry trained and highly qualified in the teaching profession, providing an excellent teaching provision that uses current work-based skills and the latest industry standards. This includes knowledge and use of trail blazing technologies such as Kornit Digital ethical printers, Zund cutting technologies, and the latest CAD software such as Style3D and Optitex. In 2021, FEL was shortlisted by TES as one of the UK’s most outstanding adult training providers in the UK.
The Leicester campus of the FTA has recently been upgraded (27 Aug 2024) and has been re-named Fashion Hub, with new premises at 2nd Floor, Phoenix House, 9 King Street, Leicester LE1 6RN. The Fashion Hub will build on the early success of Leicester’s FTA, with a year-round agenda of courses and workshops, alongside a fashion studio for sampling and patterns, and a repairs service with partners United Repair Centre.
About the Fashion Hub’s UKSPF project
