Zinthiya Trust
The Zinthiya Trust (ZT) is a locally rooted organisation supporting women and families in Leicester and Leicestershire since 2009.
About our organisation
Our aim is to work towards a city where people can be free from poverty and abuse. We strive to achieve this by providing the following services:
- One to one support for women and girls fleeing all forms of abuse (including financial abuse).
- Supporting individuals to overcome poverty by providing money, debt and energy advice.
- Help and guidance in applying for eligible welfare benefits, housing and other energy/community support grants, ensuring individuals get the resources they need.
- Providing practical support such as free emergency food and utility top ups; responding to immediate crisis situations in local communities.
In an average year, we support over 2,500 unique beneficiaries across our services.
We have a strong track record of delivering impactful services within our community, supporting people facing multiple and complex needs. We receive referrals from over 50 agencies.
