Sheet music and plays can be borrowed from the new regional service Nottingham Performing Arts library Service.

We get our films at the same time as other leading rental outlets, but you can rent them from us for up to a week. We have:
- The latest blockbusters
- Family favourites
- Cult classics
- World cinema
- Musicals.
'The classic collection' are £1 per week
(DVDs and Video Cassettes)
From 'Alfie' to 'Zorba The Greek', and 'Brief Encounter' to 'A Very Long Engagement'; we have hundreds of titles available to rent from Central Library.
Music CDs are 50p per week
These include:
- Rock, Jazz, Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Folk, World Music and Soundtracks
- 13,000 classic titles in our reserve - please ask staff for details.
City residents can reserve CDs for free.
Music scores and sets of plays
Leicester music and drama stock has been transferred to the new regional service - Nottingham Performing Arts Library Service [NPALS].
This new service will support amateur and professional music and drama groups by lending printed music and drama sets.
Nottingham and Leicester city councils have worked together to combine their drama and music collections to offer a much bigger and better service.
This new regional Performing Arts Service will be run by Nottingham City Council from Radford-Lenton Library and will serve Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
