Victim and witness support

Victim First give free and confidential help to victims of crime, their family, friends and anyone else affected. They give information, emotional support and practical help.

You don’t have to report a crime to the police to get help and you can get support at any time, whenever the crime happened. Victim First are not a government agency or part of the police.

Keep safe places

A 'keep safe place' is somewhere a person can go if they feel vulnerable, upset, scared, worried, confused or distressed and need immediate support whilst they are out in the community – usually in a town centre.
