See if you meet the conditions below, not to be considered as an adult resident.

Do you qualify?

To qualify for an apprentice’s council tax discount you must be:    

• employed to learn a trade, business, or profession
• doing training that leads to an accredited qualification
• receiving a salary and/or allowance that is £195 or less per week, before tax and national insurance deductions

You will need to provide evidence of your salary and course attendance.

How do I claim?

• You can apply using the link above.  You will need to download the form once you have completed part A, as Part B of the form must be completed by the apprentice’s employer – the application cannot be processed if Part B is not completed.
