Wheels to Work
The Wheels to Work scheme offers the chance to hire an electric bike at £45 per month for six months. If you're a Leicester resident, have secured a placement in work, education or training and are over the age of 16, you could be eligible to hire an e-bike. Our bikes are located at the city council’s Town Hall Bike Park, LE1 9BG, in the basement of the Town Hall. The entrance is on the corner of Town Hall Square and Horsefair Street.

Bike Fest
Come and join us at Leicester Cycle Circuit on the last Saturday of each month, May to October 1pm – 4pm. This free monthly event gives you the chance to ride a dedicated cycle circuit as many times as you want at a pace that suits you.
The event is open to all ages and abilities and includes British Cycling Go-Ride coaches to help improve your cycling skills along and adapted bikes for all the family.

Open Streets
Leicester’s Open Streets event is back! On the last Sunday of each month May to October traffic free streets and public spaces will be open for people to enjoy.
Join in at Town Hall Square, Clock Tower and Churchgate from 1pm - 4pm for lots of fun activities. Enjoy crazy bikes, bike fix, arts, street games, guided walks and led rides, entertainment and much more. Find out more about Open Streets on the Choose how you move website.
