Tender opportunities 

There are many opportunities to trade at our upcoming events. Please read and ensure that you are completing the correct form. 

Old Town Festival 2025
Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April
City Centre  

Old Town Festival is a new event for 2025 incorporating St George with the Historic Roman Heritage of the City. Located in Leicester’s Old Town district, including Leicester Cathedral, King Richard III Visitors Centre, The Guildhall and Jubilee Square.

There will be a program of re-enactments, walkabout acts and characters, street theatre, venue tours, storytelling, arts and crafts, Morris, and maypole dancing plus much more. The footfall across the weekend is expected to be more than 10,000.   

We are encouraging traders to apply who display goods relatable to an old town market e.g. artisan foods, jewellery, pottery textiles, handcrafts, and art. However, this is not exclusive, and we welcome applications from all. Stall placement will be determined after the deadline and cannot be agreed in advance you may be placed inside or outside the venues.

Leicester Riverside Festival 2025 
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June
Bede Park, Western Boulevard, The River Soar, Castle Gardens and DMU Campus

Leicester Riverside Festival returns to the city on the first full weekend in June. This free two-day festival features fun on and off the water and is within easy walking distance from the city centre. 

The event incorporates many diverse attractions and activities over five sites, including live music, a funfair, street food, licensed bars and waterway activities, it attracted up to 75,000 people over the weekend last year and appeals to all ages and backgrounds from across Leicester and Leicestershire.
