Mental Health Partnership Board
The Mental Health Partnership Board aim to influence developments in the city which will make a difference to people with mental health problems and their family or carers.
Its membership includes people with mental health problems and family carers, as well as a range of statutory, independent and voluntary sector agencies, including the police, the NHS and ourselves. The board is not an open forum and operates a membership list to ensure that there is the right balance of stakeholders.
The board meets quarterly, and is chaired by Tania Shah, a person with lived experience of accessing mental health services. The Board is attended by Cllr Vi Dempster, Assistant City Mayor with responsibility for health.
