Bowls

There are 13 bowling greens throughout the City, all of which have their own individually clubs catering for men’s, women’s and mixed games.  Most of the bowling clubs provide staffing cover for casual bowlers at various times throughout the season April – September.

This is a great way for gentle easy exercise and meeting people, with many of the clubs holding social events.  They are always looking for volunteers to help run their clubs.  Aylestone Hall Gardens and Evington Bowling Club hold annual events and provide taster sessions for those who wish to give it a go.  Many of the clubs are always seeking new members of all abilities, if you would like to find out more please contact us on the phone number below.

Victoria Park is home to the Visually Impaired Bowls Club, and those who become members are entitled to a reduced rate bowls season ticket.  The pavilion and the green are suitably equipped.
