Sport on Parks 

 Football pitches

Sport On Parks is responsible for organising and administrating a programme of outdoor recreational activities accessible through a diverse range of parks, playing fields and open spaces throughout the City.

 

There are a total 74 football pitches and 10 cricket wickets for both junior and senior play at 20 different venues, which can be booked through the local leagues.  Further information about the local leagues can be found on the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA website.

 

Bowls Clubs are situated in 9 of the City's parks with the Leicester Croquet Club and the Visually Impaired Bowls Club, both playing at Victoria Park.

 

Boot Camps are taking place on the Parks at varying times throughout the week

 

Orienteering courses are available at Abbey Park, Evington Park, Knighton Park and the Arboretum

 

Kids Run Free are now launching FREE running races on Braunstone Park.

 

Leicester Blue Sox Baseball Club are now based permanently at Western Park

 

Ping! Tables are permanently installed at five parks across Leicester City.
