(May 2013) Please note that the Improving Your
Resource Efficiency (IYRE) project has now closed to new applicants and we
cannot therefore offer grants to businesses. Please contact Nicola Holt on 0116
252 8093 or ccwyp@leicester.gov.uk for free energy saving advice for businesses or to book a
free energy saving site visit.
Thanks to EU funding, the Improving Your Resource Efficiency
(IYRE) service at Leicester City Council is offering to help small-to-medium
sized businesses across the whole of Leicestershire to save money and reduce
their energy bills through resource efficiency. It can also provide financial
assistance of a £1000* grant or two days specialist consultancy.
A grant could help towards the cost of accreditation towards
an Environmental Management System (EMS) such as IS0 14001, specialist
consultancy or installing energy efficient measures or renewable technology.
The IYRE service provides excellent opportunities for
businesses to achieve savings whilst also managing their environmental impacts.
The grant is an additional incentive to assist businesses in these financial
uncertain times while increasing business’ competitiveness.
Our aim is to make the process as easy as possible and will
undertake work on your behalf so you are able to focus on your business. We
will seek a minimum of three quotes for any works/services and work with you to
get the best value of money for your business.
For further details contact the IYRE service on 0116 252 8087 or email iyre@leicester.gov.uk
* Client contribution is required. A £1000 grant is based on
