Make a payment

The easiest way to pay for many of our services is to do it online. It's fast and secure and we accept most credit and debit cards.

You can now pay for our services 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, using our secure automated telephone payments facility: 

  • Council tax
  • Business Rates (NNDR)
  • Housing (or garage) rents
  • Customer accounts invoices
  • Parking fines (penalty charge notice)
  • Bus Lane Enforcement Penalty Charge Notice
  • Benefits overpayments 

Call 0116 454 1012 and follow the instructions.

Please ensure that you speak slowly and concisely. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch or Maestro cards and won't charge you a processing fee. Just have your card details and relevant account number from your bill ready when you call.

Your payment will be credited to your account usually within one working day. There is no charge or minimum payment required for debit or credit card payments.
